Fully tiled walls, shower pipes relocated from side wall to rear wall, hiding pipes and fitted with gold plated mixer shower. New bath fitted with stylish shelf built to hide an awkward gap at the end of the bath. Fully tiled wall & shelf created to sit behind wash hand basin and WC, providing handy surface, using mosaic tiles to co-ordinate with wall surround and the end bath shelf.
Steve used his creativity and attention to customer requirements to design and fit this completely new bathroom. His carpentry skills enabled him to design and build the wall/shelf that sits behind the WC and sink, cleverly hiding unsightly pipework and at the same time providing a helpful surface requested by the client that was in keeping with the style and quality of the bathroom.
Steve moved all pipework for the shower, plumbed in the shower, bath, WC and sink, repaired and prepared the walls before tiling them with high specification tiles. The bathroom uses gold plated taps, shower, taps, plugs and sink pipe which blend well with the tiles producing a classy look. Bathroom furniture and shower was sourced from trade supplier Grahams, and the tiles from Topps Tiles.

Modern fully tiled bathroom - complete refit
Full refit to give a modern stylish bathroom using mirror mosaic tiles for a high border on white gloss tiles. Black slate floor tiles provide a striking complement.
Shower pipes hidden in wall behind, fully tiled bathroom in white gloss tiles, tiled in brick effect style. The customer needed to maximise storage in a compact bathroom so Steve fitted under sink cupboards and customised a slimline cupboard between the WC and wall which also accomodates the lower half of the soil stack, as well as providing a long square cupboard and giving a neat, sleeker look. The worktop was customised to fit this corner and giving valuable surface space.
Steve used mirror tiles for the windowsill for a consistent look and to bring together the top border with the rest of the bathroom. A tall towel heater was fitted to maximise towel hanging space.
Bathroom to wetroom
Small family bathroom turned into a wetroom. The bathroom straddled the new and old parts of the property and has no windows as it sits centrally in the house. Once the existing bathroom furniture had been removed it was apparent that significant preparation work was required. Decaying walls had to be remade and the floor rebuilt and levelled, and all the pipework also needed to be hidden below the floor and behind the wall which would create a very clean minimalistic feel in the finished room.
The room was tanked, or 'fully waterproofed' with a sealant before installation of the drainage system before Steve tiled the floor and walls using high quality stone coloured textured floor tiles which give good grip in a wetroom. Large white tiles were used for the walls with a blue/grey mosaic surround, enhancing this with a wide vertical mosaic strip behind the shower. This creates a very striking cross shape and gives the room a wow factor.
The basin was suspended from the wall which helps makes the room feel spacious and airy.
